Being in the desert, I recognized very quickly the lack of fall colors. As much as I love this sunlight, fall is my favorite time of the year. I love when the trees are aflame with color, when the colors make one last burst of brightness. It just cannot be matched. With this in mind, it struck me to have a contest. I basically opened up for submissions, and then post it in an album on facebook. Whichever captured the most likes would win. The prize would be for more photos of the winner to be "showcased," if you would, in a blog post.
