I've felt like I have mentioned slowing down and enjoying things, but I have failed to mention that you can easily do that while you're on the move.
God didn't want us to live life in slow mo, but we don't need to be going through life like you're driving through a drive-thru. Be merry. Eat and drink. Enjoy the amazing blessings in this life that God has put on this world. It's amazing what you experience when you see it, slow mo or fast paced.
David was one of those men who could just get into it. He danced his heart out before the Lord, but he didn't care what the other people thought. It was just him and the Father. A son dancing for his Father. The little children ran to Christ. Samson took the jaw of a donkey and killed Philistines. The Lord loves it when His children are celebrating and praising Him. How many celebrations did the Jews have? Many. The Lord believes in celebration. (People may contest that Samson killing the Philistines is not cause for celebration. But there was celebration after the fact, when the Israelites were freed;)
What I'm trying to say is, while you're going about your daily lives, live life to the fullest. Live for God. Live to please the Lord in all that you do; so that when you run to your Saviour's arms, He will declare, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
