"I See Another Reformation Coming."

One of my favorite rap songs (Yes, I listen to rap, if only to listen to music while working out) goes, "...we're talking about the fifteen/sixteen hundreds, I see another Reformation coming.. Spurgeon still preaching, Edwards and Whitefield still teaching..."

This song is begging the us to be aware.  Aware of what we are letting happen.  Aware of the damage that we are doing by just sitting by and letting our country sink into apathy.  The church in America is sitting farther and farther back into it's chair.  The church is letting the government of the United States take over it's charges.  We need to revive and breathe the life of Christ once again.

I'm not saying that all of the churches are doing this, there are places that are actually working hard, and reaping the rewards.  But the overall church in America is good with just chilling.  They are enjoying the "equality" we share with all other religions.  We need to relight the fire of Love and put our armor back on, and dive back into the fight.

Remember, this warfare that we are fighting on earth is not one of lusting for blood and revenge.  This is one of renewing the world, and plunging this generation into the ocean of Christ's love.  We need to have a righteous anger that will take us, "to the ends of the world."  Stop settling for just coasting along, we were made for more than this, do not settle for less than what you can do.

How do you do this?  Start with your circle.  Change how you live for Christ, stand for what you believe, and affect those who come into contact with you.  The love of Christ should be contagious, it should rub off anyone, who engages in a conversation with you.  If we all do this, and work on this in our little circle, the world will know Christ's name.  This is the start of the Reformation of the Almighty Father's Love.

(The name of the song is Theology Nerd, by IV Conerly)
