Be Present

Recently, I've rediscovered an artist by the name of Propaganda.  He could be qualified as a "rapper."  But he is more of a poet.  Just listening to his songs, you can hear an unusual beat and rhythm.  But his message is intense, and catches the your attention right off the bat.  He falls into the genre of Spoken Word.  And boy, does it strike home.

Be present..  A theme that I have been learning about recently.  Well, not recently.  I reflect on what I have gone through in just the past year alone.  And that is learning to cherish the moments.  And live in the moment.  Not just to live in the moment.  But to live right.

Too many people abuse the saying, Carpe Diem, as an excuse to do ridiculous things.  I would propose that we are to seize the day and the time given us to do what we have been given to do.  Even the mundane things are from God, and that's beautiful!  Why do we think that there are even such things as mundane things?  If God has called you to vacuum the cars, then by golly, that's awesome.

Now, the video below is more of a story than a song.  I would encourage you to listen to it.  Time is precious, and we need to know how to treat this commodity.

I'm happy to be back and blogging again!  I have multiple posts in the works, and should be coming out with them soon!  Thanks for your patience :)
