Freshie Excursions: Uniontown

Summer is here and it is time to get back into writing.  And when I say writing, I mean writing of my own volition.  Although, I have to admit that I did enjoy the process of writing papers for school, and even enjoyed some of the topics that we were assigned, I can say with confidence that nothing can beat the kind of writing that one does on a rainy afternoon with no school hanging over one's head.

With how busy life was during the school year, it was pretty difficult to make a habit of writing on my own time.  I can say that I only blogged about twice a term, which is a sad fact indeed.  But, what is done is done, and I am here to rectify that.  Summer is the time for free writing, and I intend to make the most of that.  So today, I just wanted to share with you a little excursion that fellow classmates and I had out in the Idahoan country side.

Uniontown is a very small town about half an hour outside of Moscow.  And this was the destination that a group of us chose one Saturday afternoon.

This was the bakery that actually inspired the whole trip.  It definitely lived up to expectations.

This barn showcases art from all around the country.  We had the pleasure to watch some of the artists in their natural habitat.

This is a wheel fence.  Like wheeley, it is a wheel fence.  (Okay, I'm done.  I apologize for that lame pun.)

It was a pretty good day.
