Emotions, you're a funny thing.
Sometimes, I can't put my finger on you.
It's very much like trying to describe beauty such as I witnessed this afternoon. When I looked out over Moscow from my perch, I've realized how difficult it is to describe something so beautiful and still be able to capture the emotion. Because, as a writer, it is easy to catch a scene. But every scene has something more to it. Emotion. Every interaction, every thought, everything we do is colored and fueled by some emotion. Describing a scene without emotion is reducing something from 3-D to 2-D. Hopefully, I'll be able to get to the point where my readers feel when they read.
