It's the last day of 2016, and this is about the time that you become reflective. You start reflecting on the past year. Generally, you consider the challenges, the hardships, and the blessings that made up your life in that year. You look back and you see the patterns and themes that God was teaching you. In my instance, repetition was definitely the mother of learning.
One of the big lessons that I have been taught and am still learning is being fine with not being in control. Moving around alot can definitely provide opportunities to grow in this area. But I have been particularly challenged in this area even more when I began my first semester at college. You don't ever seem to be in control of your school work. There always seems like there is something else to do, so it can be very stressful. And when you finally do feel like everything is okay and in hand, you get hit with the next load of homework. It is discouraging to say the least. But you have to be fine with that. You need to put your trust in Him who will never let you go astray. He will give you the strength to persevere and overcome. God is in control, and that is all that matters.
2016 has been an amazing year. And here are just a few of the highlights:
