There's a part of me that can't believe I've been doing this for five years, and then there's a part of me that is slightly scared about what I might be re-sharing. September 10th is a somewhat special day for me. Did I say special? I don't know if that is exactly what I would describe this day as, but it is an anniversary of sorts. Most people celebrate anniversaries with their spouse or some other life-defining moment, but I am celebrating mine with my blog. That's right, September 10, 2012 was my very first post published on this site. (I know it isn't the 10th, but I'll be out of town. And I've learned from experience that I don't blog so well on the go.)
So, what you're about to see are the skeletons. My skeletons. There is five years worth of blackmail here, and I'm helping you dig it up.
Actually, in all seriousness, I have enjoyed every minute of writing on this blog. I think it is safe to say that this has grown. But it hasn't been without it's experiments. . . I think I've changed the name three times. I've had different contests on here. I've tossed around ideas for books on here. (Actually written an "entire" book on here.) I've even tried posts analyzing different sports. Of course it has had it's flops, but I think I came away from each failure learning abit more about my writing style, and what I can do. But whatever I've written, it is still pretty much there. So, step into my time machine if you dare. It has definitely been a ride.
Without further ado, here is my first post. Remember that as you read this post, that I was a freshman in highschool. (Just keep that in mind.) I think a writing assignment inspired "Luke Scout-Walker." Oh boyo.
My most viewed post is over here. "Rocking the Hizza." (I guess I thought that was a good title.)
I can't believe I'm doing this, but this is the first part of "The Sterling Prophecy." (Published four years ago, I have no shame. Okay.. maybe a little bit.)
This one explains my most recent title for A Little More Alive. (Does it make any sense?)
And then one of my personal favorites: this post has alot of meaning for me. I learned alot from this time in my life. (If you really want something, you're gonna have to grind for it.)
That is all I'm going to share, but feel free to explore the dark depths of this cavern. I'm not holding you back. Thanks for sticking with me this long! Here's to another five.
